    Tis’ the season to be jolly! Fa la la la la la la la! Cool off with us this summer for some spontaneous holiday fun! We will explore the magical wintery world with exciting art projects, games, and tasty treats.

    The goals for the members are to improve fine motor skills, coordination, bilateral coordination, social skills, and the ability to follow multi step directions. Participants will be required to follow a group plan and will have the opportunity to work with other peers to achieve a common goal.

  • Wednesday August 2nd and Thursday August 3rd

    Time: 11:30-12:30

    Age: 6-10 Group Size: 4

    We are excited to be running a new summer break enrichment series. Craft the Rainbow will be a two day experience in a small group (1:1) setting. The sessions will consist of fun multi-sensory activities with an explosion of rainbow colors and rainbow themed obstacle courses. Completing craft projects including making your own tie-dye and slime. It will be an exciting mix of movement activities and crafts.

    The goals for the members are to build upon fine motor skills, motor planning, bilateral coordination, social skills, and executive functioning skills. Participants will be required to follow a group plan and will have the opportunity to work with other peers to achieve a common goal. They will need to follow multi-step directions to complete fine motor craft activities. We want this to be a positive and fun experience for all and can not wait for you to join us!

    Game On! will be a two-day experience in a small group (1:1) setting. It will be an exciting mix of movement sports activities and board games.

    The goals for the members are to improve fine motor skills, coordination, bilateral coordination, social skills, boost confidence, and gain a positive sense of self. Participants will be required to follow a group plan and will have the opportunity to work with other peers to achieve a common goal. They will need to follow multi-step directions to complete fine motor craft activities. We want this to be a positive and fun experience for all!

    During this two-day camp we’ll not only learn the many physical benefits which boxing & circuit training provide, but also uncover the deeper lessons within. We’ll be uncovering the foundation of mental wellbeing through overcoming the biggest opponent: one’s self.

    Participants will get a full-body workout through a series of counselor-guided stations, to improve endurance, bilateral coordination, proprioception, strength, and body awareness. The circuit will include mountain climbers, burpees, heavy bag, cross-crawls, square jumps, and various other plyometric exercises. In addition to the physical elements, we’ll delve further into the mental components of boxing, which make it so beneficial for building self-esteem, improving self-regulation, and reducing stress.

    Ages: 4 to 7

    A hobby or interest like movie making combines creativity, team-work, and technology and gives kids the chance to express themselves, gain self-awareness, and build self-esteem. It also helps build valuable skills that can turn into lifelong passions!

    Therapeutic benefits:

    ● Social communication (e.g working together, sharing ideas, flexibility, problem-solving,

    roles within a group etc.)

    ● Language organization and narrative development

    ● Trying new things and gaining confidence being with peers

    ● Executive function (task planning, time management, setting and achieving goals etc.)

    We’re happy to announce the return of Movie Making Camp! We are offering an opportunity for kids to get together to share ideas and make social connections while making short movies! Kids will work together in small groups to brainstorm ideas, make a plan, film and edit a short movie together!

    A hobby or interest like movie making combines creativity,

    team-work, and technology and gives kids the chance to

    express themselves, gain self-awareness, and build self-esteem. It also helps build valuable skills that can turn into lifelong passions!

    Welcoming all Star Wars fans! In this 2 day camp, we’ll talk about our common interest in Star Wars while making our own lightsabers. Kids will work together to design and build their lightsaber while playing Star Wars themed games, activities and trivia. Together, we’ll practice social communication, flexible thinking, executive function skills and collaboration with others who have similar interests and knowledge of this series!

    During this 3-day enrichment series, John Chambers OTL/R and Matt Aubrey COTA/L will guide parents and children through various other Disney related activities. The crafts will be Disney themed and will focus on fine motor skills, organization, attention, and sequencing. The gross motor activities vary by day and target all different muscles groups.

  • Looking to share, collaborate, and learn more about creating content on online platforms? Please join this virtual summer group to explore different creators' content and ideas, the legalities of copyrighted music, how to credit others’ work, and more! Prior experience or knowledge with creating content on Youtube, Scratch, Vyond, SFM, Roblox or other animation and game based platforms is required. We are looking to start a month-long series and hope to make this a standing group over Zoom!
